The future of One Chapel Place

Public consultation for the proposed redevelopment of One Chapel Place to deliver modern and sustainable workspace with a re-vitalised public realm

The Oxford Street District is entering a period of significant change.

The former large department stores are changing use. The public realm is being transformed. The evolving demands of shoppers, visitors and office workers means we have reached a point in time where transformation is required.

One Chapel Place is an outdated office building just off Oxford Street that contributes little to the heart of our global City.

The street scene surrounding the building is uninviting, giving no reason for people to visit the area.

Architecturally it is poor, detracting from the Grade 1 Listed St Peter’s Church next door.

Modern office workers now require far more than what is provided and the existing building cannot accommodate the required changes.

With the existing tenants leaving the building in 2028, now is the time to consider the future of One Chapel Place

The transformation: helping to deliver new jobs, workspace and public amenity in the West End

The owners of One Chapel Place, are looking to transform the building and it’s immediate environment when the current tenants leave in 2028.

In place of a tired, compromised 35,000 sq ft five storey office building it is proposed to provide a 73,000 sq ft eleven storey sustainable building offering modern workspace, new commercial space, animated public realm and a public rooftop terrace.
